TikToker calls out employers to require candidates to jump hoops in hiring process
It is not uncommon for companies to require applicants to conduct multiple interviews before offering a job.
However, TikToker Callie (@_cal_cifer) thinks anything over 2 is overkill. In one of her recent videos, she explains that she has lost interest in jobs that require her to sit down three or four times beforehand with her recruiter.
Callie’s clip quickly went viral, suggesting it was a topic employees really cared about.

“If you ask me to come in for three or four interviews, chances are I’m no longer interested in the job.”
“If the selection process takes longer than a month, there’s a good chance you’re no longer interested in the job.”

“If you have to re-explain your entire resume at every step of the process, you’re probably no longer interested in the job because it’s obvious the interviewer didn’t even look at it.”
“If I refuse to give a specific salary range until I get the offer letter, I’m probably not interested in the job anymore.”

“If you don’t want to be honest and transparent with applicants, that’s your prerogative, but good applicants don’t wait or wait for you to figure it out either.”
