Some people find joy in having so much in common with other people in their area. And that’s perfectly fine. However, there are many people who do not want to live in a generic, mass-produced interior. It’s normal to want to stand out and impress others.
It’s much harder to leave a lasting impression on your guests when your kitchen and living room look nearly identical.
Modern Farmhouse is all about bringing rustic, vintage interior decisions into the 21st century. Neutral color schemes, sleek lines, and contemporary touches to what might be considered a traditional design approach. It’s all about finding the balance of coziness without cluttering your home too much.
Or, in more modest terms, make your home look like a soft, serene chic barn that makes you want to invite your neighbors over for a warm slice of apple pie…others in your neighborhood. Like all homes!
According to “The Spruce,” the most common elements of the modern farmhouse style include reclaimed wood, barnboard detailing, large comfy or pine furniture, wide plank floors, wrought iron accents, and vintage accents. There are also accessories. Personally, these are all aspects that we enjoy quite a bit. However, I’m not sure if this is how we personally want to decorate our entire home.
