10 YO asks the cashier to pretend to be his mother when a stranger keeps following him and asks him to come with her
Most of us grow up in fear of “strangers.” Don’t take anything from strangers. Do not go anywhere with strangers. Do not trust strangers. So you try to follow, but you don’t really know what you’re asking for. True Crime’s documentaries, mystery novels, and over-the-top mystery shows offer some clearer signs of what to watch out for.
But a world that seems fictional comes to life from time to time, making you the protagonist of a scenario you’ve been warned about for years. But that’s no surprise. They’re still lurking out there.
A 10-year-old boy found himself in this situation. A strange woman was following him and asking him to come with him. An idea flashed in the child’s head like a light bulb, he ran into the store, asked the clerk to pretend to be his mother, and the stranger finally walked away. Let’s see the details!

True Crime is my personal favorite late-night entertainment genre. The suspense, the intrigue, the inhuman abilities of fellow humans all come together to create a world that’s so far away, and yet it’s not enough. I have hair stuck in the back of my neck.
One such scenario occurred on Friday, November 11, when a 10-year-old boy named Sammy Green approached a stranger. As he was walking home from school in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, he noticed a strange woman following him step by step.
On November 11, as Sammy was walking home from school, a strange woman began following him, claiming to be her friend and asking about her family.

The woman “started walking with him and asked where his family was and where his father was,” said Sam Greene, the boy’s father. ABC6Although Sammy had never met her in his life, she continued to insist that she knew his family.
Now approached, she goes somewhere with her at Wawa, a local convenience store that sells shakes, sandwiches, and other treats, with gifts, treats, and the promise of “what he wants.” I did my best to seduce him.
She was trying to get him to follow her, promising gifts and treats, which made Sammy feel uncomfortable.

“She said, ‘I’m going to Wawa, are you going there? What are you getting from Wawa? Where’s your family?'” Sammy said. CBSSpoiler alert — if someone you don’t know is asking you to follow them to give you a gift, it’s probably not a good idea.
It didn’t look good. She was persistent and could not get a hint that the boy wanted nothing to do with her. Went into Funky and went straight to 17-year-old Hannah who worked the cash register.

“He was like, ‘Pretend you’re my mom,'” Hannah said CBS, “And I was like, ‘Okay, go to the back.’ He didn’t want to leave my side. Security footage showed Hannah calmly walking to the store’s front door, locking it, and the woman finally walking away.
The store owner can’t help but admire Hannah’s calm manner in dealing with potentially dangerous situations. “I’m so proud of her. Hannah she’s a young woman of 17. She did everything right,” she said.
Sammy was shaken by the whole ordeal, but the situation seems to have hit Sammy’s dad the hardest. “When I was watching that video, I cried every time I saw it,” he said. “It hurts you deeply to see my child, who is basically afraid for his life, asking for help.”
Sammy went straight to the Dani Bee Funky clerk and asked 17-year-old Hannah to pose as her mother.

It was hard, but my son remembered everything he had been taught about this situation, and it made him proud.
To prevent tragedy, you need to be prepared. This may have just been a confused woman, but there were many times when there was a disturbing intrigue in the movements of people approaching the children. “Practice situations and scenarios like fire drills.”
For the time being, Sammy plans to have a family friend walk her to and from school, just to be safe. Pottstown police have since pursued the woman.
Security footage showed Hannah quietly approaching the door, closing it and locking it.

There are many tips and tricks shared on the internet that can help you identify if you are being followed and what to do in such situations. What you should do is not panic.
as advised by ackerman security, stay vigilant in situations where your safety may be questioned. Remove your headphones so you can hear someone approaching and look up from the ground so you can observe your surroundings more clearly.
“When you look up, you don’t just see your surroundings,” said Brittany W. of Ackerman Security. “You’ll also appear more confident and less intimidated, making you a less likely target for thieves chasing you.”
At that moment, Sammy’s father, Sam Greene, was proud of his son’s quick wit, but the possibility of harm to his son brought him to tears.

Then try to make random pit stops over varying lengths of time. You might even walk in circles or drive in a square pattern. “You turn right, then right at the next intersection, and she turns right twice and you can walk or drive across the square,” said Sara Thomas of Ackerman Security. “If your followers make the same pattern, you can be sure it’s not a coincidence.”
If the person keeps walking where you are, write down as much as you can about the person so that you can best describe them to your family, friends, and the police. Keep your phone handy in case you need to call the police or send her GPS location to a friend or family member.
“Think of all the scenarios and make sure your kids know and put them into practice,” he told his parents.

One last thing, don’t be afraid to make a fuss or cause trouble. We tend to care about the most insignificant things when our lives can be in danger. And surprisingly, there are so many people around, like Sammy, who are willing to help if you ask.
We wish Sammy, his family and Hannah all the best in the future. It’s too hard to go through something like this once. Dear Pandas, I hope you are not in a real crime scenario!
