1. The longest beard of all time – Hans Langst
Hans Nielsen Langst Born in Norway but moved to the United States. Since his death in 1927, he has held the record for growing the longest beard of all time. The beard was measured posthumously in Iowa. It was 17’6” long.
However, some records say that when the beard was cut off before burial, there was still 12 inches left on the man himself. This means that the total length of his beard at the time of death was 18 inches. The 17.5-inch beard is preserved in the Smithsonian Museum.
2. Guinness record holder – Sarawan Singh
Sarwan Singh lives in Canada. He currently holds the Guinness World Record for the longest beard. In 2011, his beard was 2.495 meters (8’2.5″) long. This is the longest beard of a male alive today. Singh set a record in 2010 and the man confirmed it in 2011. He continues to grow it still.

4. Indian Actor Extraordinaire- Praveen Parameswar Thady
In 2019, Praveen won the National Beard and Mustache Championship in Gurgaon, India for his incredible 38 inch beard. Originally an IT engineer, Praveen migrated to Kochi, India to pursue acting. He started growing his beard 7 years ago after losing a movie role because he didn’t have a long enough beard.
5. Paul Wright – The hobby
Paul lives in the UK and takes up beard growing as a hobby. He has been growing his long beard for over seven years and is now about 2.5 feet long. Paul Wright visits various beard contests and proudly flaunts it as he walks down the street.
6. Britain’s longest beard – Michael Legg
Michael Legg lives in the UK. He has been growing his massive beard for over four years. Now it is a little over 2 meters. He holds the honor of being the owner of the longest beard in Britain. He often participates in hair contests and pageants.
7. The longest beard in heavy metal history – Sean Zee
Sean Z is the lead singer of the metal band Daath. He also appeared as a keyboardist with Chimaira. His beard is about one meter long. Many of his fans believe his beard is the best in music history.
8. The best old man in the world of cinema – Madison Rowley
