Aggressive ‘Karen’ quickly learned that her actions had consequences
It amazes us that some people can outright attack strangers. For example, take “Karen” from LeGate’s story. Screenshots of her messages show her acting crazy, acting incredibly entitled, and threatening to ruin a man’s career.
However, LeGate said the screenshot he shared publicly to shame the bully wasn’t even “the worst mean thing she said.” CEO decided to step in and fight back.
He voted his followers on whether he should contact the woman’s employer with evidence of her egregious behavior. . He pulled “Reverse Uno” to make sure that instead of getting her fired, she would lose her job.It was the cherry on top that she lost her Twitter account.
In short, play silly games and win silly prizes. Or, in other words, don’t randomly blackmail someone just because they might disagree with your politics or values. It may sound easy, but remember that common sense is not that common.
As of this writing, LeGate’s thread has been viewed nearly half a million times. It’s unnerving that there are people out there who will attack you unprovoked, like “Crazy Karen”. LeGate was given the freedom to pursue his dreams as an entrepreneur.
