Generally speaking, there is no law against parking on private property, but technically it is considered trespassing. However, if you’re trying to get the person involved with the authorities, it’s a civil offense, not a criminal offense, so nothing may be done.
It sounds like the most basic cliché ever when it comes to dealing with situations like this, but you should try to stay calm. Anger gets you nowhere. Additionally, the chance that the person who parked it had some sort of emergency or simply parked there by mistake is always small, but still present.
If the conversation becomes offensive, or if you suspect the vehicle has been abandoned, contact the police immediately.
Also, there are some safety measures you can consider if you are a repeat victim of unwelcome guests. For example, “no parking” or “private parking” signs, fixed bollards, fences or gates are also great ideas. Last but not least, get CCTV to protect yourself from accidents.
