written word art. Like “Take care”. “The day is long, but the road is short.” Whatever they are. It stresses me out. You don’t have to see it on the wall. It feels so dated. So bless the house, but not in the walls.
It never hides the original flooring. It is impossible to get a beautiful original floor. So you should refinish when you can. You can update the color, but you cannot undo it.
One thing I personally never buy is acrylic furniture. People prefer acrylic furniture, but to me, it always gets dirty. Rubs off within 2 seconds. When I look at it, I feel like it’s scratched, and it’s like it’s not antifouling. So the kids and I said, no, thank you.

And I never say “never”. Because I don’t believe in rules and design should evolve as we evolve.
LED bulb. Save your comment. I know they last forever, but I’m not interested in looking tanned under my bedside table lamp. I love that it feels like I’m living in. Everything has a really soft glow.
