short. Literally no one can control their height. Judge people by what they *can* control.
Drink cocktails instead of beer. Or “girly drink.”That’s my money shit and I’m gonna drink something good
Seeking mental health support. I grew up in an environment where this didn’t work, but as an adult I desperately needed help to handle things and didn’t have the tools or understanding to do it alone.
Having a hobby that people define as effeminate.
Baking, gardening, textiles and more.
Elaborately, I love gardening myself. I grow a garden myself and it has been very helpful with my previous anger issues. Also, I had a guest who always assumed it was a product of my wife’s work, so I mentioned it.
Stoicism. I think it’s the modern era and people want to be open about their feelings and cry freely. If a man wants to keep his feelings private and in check, he should not be judged as regressive or callous.
take a long shower. I wish I could take long showers without anyone in my family thinking I was masturbating.
You just want to enjoy the hot water and relax.
existing.
I’m out at night so I’m not a rapist. I am not a predator as I have children in the company. I am not dangerous because you are defenseless. I’m not a creep because I don’t know why I’m there. You don’t have empathy for men, so I’m not an incel.
Body care such as massage and spa. Why should only women get such things?Massage is the best….especially if you lift heavy weights or play sports, you know ‘man’
express yourself.
My wife is pregnant and has a full-time job. Now that she is pregnant, I cook, clean, run errands, grocery shop, rub her feet, and take care of her. I took care of things 100%..do her favorite show and let her relax for the rest of the day, I refuse to let her work) etc..from waking up to going to bed I work all the time.
I love my wife so much and I know she’s going through a hard time, so I’m hoping this time will be as easy for her as possible. but everyone on the outside thinks the man doesn’t do anything during this time. I need to try harder, I’m not doing enough, and if I dare bring up the fact that I’m overwhelmed, I’m seen as weak and unfit to be her husband.
You see, there are some really s****y guys out there and they’re frustrated with me, but for those of us who are really trying, it’s demoralizing. Behavior is the reason many men simply say nothing, because it’s better to say nothing for 15 minutes than to deal with hours of drama.
Raising children, working in primary education, babysitting. When a man does these things, people automatically assume he’s a pedophile and shouldn’t be trusted. It makes no sense. If you care about protecting your child from unpleasant people, do a background check.
Buy a sports car, buy new clothes, or get some s**t. When I was younger, I couldn’t afford the car I wanted. It’s not a stage or a midlife crisis. Stop looking at men as immature to enjoy what they couldn’t do when they were younger. Maturity is not defined by hobbies or interests. And I like cars.
I have a trusting relationship with a woman. Women are likely to admit that they have trust problems with men, but men are not taken seriously, even for good reasons.
Bring up any concerns about your partner, big or small.
Honestly, having to deal with a two-hour fallout of how the above issue will make your partner feel after hearing it isn’t worth it. t is packed in a bottle.
Being a successful white man despite being born in “patriarchy” or poverty..
It’s not my fault that the world was like this before I was born.
Be happy. If we wear PPE and everyone on this scene is an alcoholic, I sometimes whistle and put on Spongebob socks.
Not comfortable around children. It doesn’t mean they can’t handle or don’t like children. Most of the time it just means they’re not used to it.
Compliment women. I walked past this lady with bright bright pink hair and she said, “I love your hair.” She looked at me like I was crazy… 🙁
