Why can you talk to humans when you can talk to cats?
Sure, both species have a notorious reputation for questionable decisions in life, but at least with cats they know where they stand. It was a little Expect it. So you really can’t consider them jerks.

If anything, talking to cats fosters rapport and is downright adorable. . Situations like being overwhelmed by the fact that a cat can knock on a door.

Meet Almond, aka Reddit User u/thatgirlagain17who recently shared a story of an adorable accidental prank r/TrueOffMyChest subreddit.
See, Almond has a neighbor who greets his little cat called Kevin with “Hi, Kevin” every time he comes home from a hard day’s work. It’s kind of monotonous and work talk like “Hello, Kevin.”Kevin reciprocates in much the same way meow.
A Redditor recently shared what it takes to get out of his chest. How did she accidentally trick her neighbor into thinking his cat, Kevin, could knock on the door?

Almond doesn’t know her neighbors, but she’s never spoken to them, but she can hear everything that happens in the common hallways of the four-unit building. She also works from her home, so you can hear her neighbors say, “Hello, Kevins.”
It’s also important to note that her neighbor likes to participate in recreational consumption. artificial grassYou can probably already guess where this is going.
With that thought in mind, one day everyone will start from the usual. Neighbors are home. “Hello, Kevin.” A slight hint of recreation begins to seep into her OP’s home. But unlike most days, she begins to hear Kevin reciprocate louder than usual.
See, her neighbor got a little too elated one day and somehow managed to lock his cat outside. and “meow”

Soon I started hearing my neighbors calling out for Kevin, as if trying to find him. Uh oh. Something is wrong. The back and forth between humans and cats continued until the OP decided to peek out the door. Kevin was outside the neighbor’s door doing the “let me in” equivalent of a cat. Meanwhile, her neighbor was frantically searching for his cat companion in the flat.
After assessing the situation, and considering the fact that cats are likely to struggle to get the attention of their owners behind the entrance fixtures, she decides to knock on the door. followed. Then she heard a startled, possibly frightening cry, “Kevin?!”
Almond rushed back to his apartment and quietly closed the door. Adorable stone kind of surprisewhispers, “How did you do it, Kevin?”

Needless to say, the neighbor was thrilled to see Kevin and immediately asked, “Kevin, how did you do that?”

It looks like it took the OP quite some time to recover from the pain in his lungs and cheeks from laughter.

“I hope he was at least eight years old. [out of 10] “For a while, on a staggering scale,” Almond elaborated. A lot of people commented on my post saying cats can knock, so I think anything is possible!”

The first time it happened it was a completely crazy experience and repeating it would take some of the mystery out of it.” “My neighbors will think that’s what Kevin does. If I get the chance again, I’d like to introduce myself this time. This is actually the first time this happened.” It was my plan at the time, but my hijinks instinct kicked in when I heard how my neighbors were in awe from the door.
She continues: My neighbors will wonder how Kevin subscribes to Fisherman’s Monthly and receives random postcards from all over the world. ”
Now I want to do that to my neighborhood cat…
Regardless, Almond concluded the interview by expressing joy that so many people have found happiness in what was originally a whimsical moment. I did it on a whim. “Hello Kevin” has been a part of my life for about a year now and it’s a silly thing that makes me happy. I think our world needs more little things that make us smile. ”
