Look baby shark, The Pinkits Children’s Hits? Well, it’s a silly question.
Well, that song took the world by storm. Such a storm has made it not only one of the most popular songs in modern human history, modern baby history, but also one of the most annoying. is certainly controversial, but most parents would probably agree that it is too welcome.
But that doesn’t stop people from enjoying it: Redditor u/soccer–girl shared a story of petty revenge against her sister. why? Well, the brothers like to hit each other’s throats to varying degrees, but it’s also because they had their reasons.
See, OP and her sisters all share a single Spotify account. is obtained. And that someone was her OP’s sister.
Over a year ago when everyone was sharing Spotify wrapped, she could not. There was one song of hers that ruined her Top 5 that was otherwise perfect. That song belonged in her OP. There was this massive battle over it that resulted in a very diabolical decision to take petty revenge.

For the next year, OP spent every waking moment repeating the infamous children’s song, but with the sound off. The OP herself couldn’t stand the song, and you can guess who could.Every day, whenever her sister wasn’t listening, she played the song 4 times to 30 times. (it’s a 2 minute song, so you can do the math). And Spotify kept track.
So, fast-forward a few months, and the latest Spotify Wrapped season has arrived, and lo and behold, Baby Shark is the most-heard song on OP’s sister’s account. The suspense that a wrapped IG story-like presentation creates just crushes your soul with a song about a baby shark and her entire family living a very PG life.
This was the beginning of a very beautiful truce between the two sisters. Sure, her sister was more upset than happy, but she found the humor in it and it worked. This isn’t her first petty revenge story, so until a more profitable petty revenge opportunity arrives for the OP.

People online loved the story anyway. It’s too healthy to be without. Especially on r/PettyRevenge.
Another user told a story of trolling his brother by adding Barbie and Bratz songs to a random playlist to startle and annoy him whenever he listens to music. Like Russian roulette.
And some people sympathized with my sister. Well, mostly because kids destroyed the stats, but some people genuinely like the music of Frozen, etc. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
