Confused lately A woman turned to the r/TrueOffMyChest subreddit To share the conflict she had with her best friend.

“My best friend broke up with her boyfriend of six years after she found out he was cheating on me. I wanted to go on a double date because it was ugly,” the author explained.

She and her husband arrived at the restaurant first. And while they were waiting for their friend’s date, her husband complimented his friend without thinking too much.

It turned out that things didn’t go well with the friend at all, who took it as a red warning sign that their marriage was about to deteriorate.
