The problem is that if you clean your delicate machine thoroughly and improperly as suggested by your boss, it destroys all the grease and makes your ears bleed.

A Redditor posing as the disposable account u/prettyrusty recently shared a story (for good reason) that her boss had effectively instructed her employees and herself to destroy a $5,000 meat slicing machine.
The boss was one of those nasty managers who would belittle or yell at you instead of offering respectful and constructive feedback. I did. Oh, it all happened in a deli-type establishment.
One day, my boss bought a $5,000 meat slicing machine to replace the old one. Some might suspect that the fate of the old was a precursor to new equipment, but I digress. The slicer comes with very detailed and precise instructions on how to properly maintain and clean it. was doing.
But my boss had another idea in mind. To maintain her hygiene standards, her cleaning ideas included cleaning the machine more thoroughly than the manual suggested. That means disassembling the machine to some degree, including the internals and gears. People should not dare to go.
Not only that, but the machine also rusts and eventually breaks down, costing you $5,000. This is exactly what happened here.

After a confrontation or two (including verbal abuse, insults, and other negative comments) Become-word), the OP realized it wasn’t worth the hassle and simply decided to maliciously obey on the orders of his superiors. To make matters worse, his boss still found something he didn’t like about the OP’s method, so he told him to do it several times a day.
result? The life of the lubricant was thought to be about a year and a half, but after extensive cleaning it was reduced to just a few weeks. And not everything was stainless steel. The internals are prone to corrosion, so the machine soon started screeching like an Odyssey siren. And it didn’t take long for me to start gasping for it…well, doing the machine equivalent of that.
“My boss, rhetorically, at one point asked me how the machine got to that stage so quickly. It was the only time she didn’t fight me back while I was there I think I remembered when I told her outright that they quit I closed the OP by recalling a story long after.
For context, an immediate answer on Google tells us: [1] Cleaning a meat slicer is a very specialized task requiring very specific procedures and methods depending on the model. [2] Maintaining your machine the way it’s supposed to be will ensure that your machine will last a long time. [3] for the love of godwear gloves.
Moral of the story: read the manual and rest in peace, ‘Spinny Dude’

Sure, there are a variety of alternative hacks out there, but given how stringent food hygiene regulations are at public dining venues, none of us want to take the risk. Treating with love and respect is the best thing people can do, and OP’s boss rejected love outright.
Speaking of prizes, director It was a sizable hit on r/maliciouscompliance, garnering over 4,300 upvotes (98% positive) and generating several comments. Some showed some love for how the OP wrote the piece and used an analogy that I wholeheartedly approve of, while others expressed their condolences to Slicer, the boss cleaning method and the subsequent crushing torture and tyranny. I hoped that I would not have to suffer from
Yet others say ‘it must have sounded awful’ or wanted a ‘squeaky clean’? Some of us applaud slowly and cast a very angry yes vote.
