And for the most part gamers respect this dynamic. However, there is a very petty judgment going on among gamers that bashing those who haven’t played the game yet. Ideal situation and yada yada yada.

Well, her boyfriend couldn’t stand how frustrating the 8th Heroine side quest was so he gave in and looked it up. , she was fine with it.
Well, hey, hey. She came up with a plan to teach him a lesson in a very vicious yet wholesome way, so it’s likely she was fine with it. I came back just to keep playing the game, but absolutely avoided one key location that allowed progress: an hour and a half.
All the while, he was cramping like physical pain, which he wanted to end his intentional, aimless wanderings. Mental damage?
Anyway, she stopped teasing and revealed her evil plans. Heck, the OP even pointed out that he hasn’t looked into spoilers since.

Just to be clear, there’s nothing wrong with looking up spoilers. Annoying spoilers, or, like here, breaking the spoiler rules, are what annoys people. But the spoiler idea itself isn’t a bad personality trait or anything like that.
