Kim Dong-Kyu is a South Korean artist who offers a fresh perspective by reimagining iconic paintings from a contemporary perspective. In 2013, he created a project titled “Art X Smart” that explores our relationship with new technologies and their impact on modern society.
Outrageously entertaining and thought-provoking artwork takes us into a utopian reality where ancient and modern meet. It shows how we have disrupted the values we thought were important in our daily lives.
