Woman applying for her job after her company posted a high paying job posting
It is fair to expect you to be adequately compensated for the hard work you do. Therefore, it can be frustrating to see your company offering someone a higher salary for a job in which you are successful.
Vietnamese-American poet, author, and professional UX writer, Kimberly Nguyen, went viral after she publicly expressed her displeasure with the company about such a situation. She saw a job posting for her exact position that she was in, but her salary was much higher. Kimberly made her feelings known to her company, twitterNot only that, she applied for a new job at work.
People expect fair compensation for the hard work they put in, so some employers’ behavior can be unacceptable.
