In the heart of the Visayas region of the Philippines, life in Dumaguete is urban living with the air of island life, with people living at a pace as if they had more time on their hands. After all, it is a “city of kind people”. A culture with a deep belief that there is always a reason to have a good time, even in the most difficult times.
These photos are part of a wider street and documentary photography series. A long-term passion project that I named “Catch a Moment”. In this series of photographs, he aims to capture the fleeting, isolated events of everyday life, where layers of dynamic elements come together in a single frame of his work. Some are humorous, some are just plain tricky.
