A poet writes a love note to win the heart of a lover, a dreamer puts the note in a bottle and leaves it to the sea. Many people like you and I can imagine a shopping trip with a grocery list.
But sometimes the note, or its creator, takes a more sinister turn. As a result, you may find passive-aggressive, bizarre and questionable notes and messages plastered anywhere, including shop windows, coffee shops, and even your own building.
Below, I’ve compiled some of the most mildly infuriating notes that make me wonder why some thoughts land on paper when they would have been better off in the writer’s head.
