‘Working for Millennials’: Millennial boss surprises employees with incredibly understanding replies to her criticism
‘I live for the weekend’, ‘Tick the clock’, ‘I’m only here for the paycheck’. These are some of the most common phrases in offices around the world.
When only 21% Most of the employees in the workforce say they feel that what they are doing is pointless, that their lives are not going well, and that they do not feel hopeful about their future. I’m here.
Luckily, real estate agent and TikTok user Kristen (@drowning above water94), her boss is looking for her. She sent the woman her honest email saying she was offended, and she realized it after receiving a pleasantly surprised response.
In fact, Kristen shared it online, making her so happy that she praised her boss for acting like a true leader.
Kristen has worked with baby boomers and Generation X and now can’t believe how different her millennial boss is compared to her older boss.

It all started when she wrote an honest email to a woman, professionally criticizing how she handled certain situations
“I’ve worked for narcissistic psychotic Boomers and narcissistic psychotic Gen X. I recently started working for millennials like me at the end of November. I’m turning 29 in April and I think she’ll be around 35 or 36 this year so she’s not older than me. .

Kristen didn’t know what kind of reaction she would receive.
“I wrote her an email. I feel that you are undermining me and could damage my relationship with these clients. I sent you a CC, but really didn’t have to.If you have something to say, please say it to me rather than the client.

So she was overjoyed to find it incredibly understandable.
“This is the reply email from her. My boots trembled. Even though I stood by everything I said and stood up for myself, my relationship with my boss was not in these other ways.” This was her reply I apologize for approaching it I never meant to undermine you For future emails sent on CC , I won’t reply unless it’s a direct question.I apologize for approaching it that way.I trust you 100% on how you handle this file.Your client is great to me. I am a client and that may make me a little too attached.I definitely need to learn to let go and trust. Also thanks for your email.Keep it inside Thank you for writing to address the way you felt right away instead of leaving.

“This is your boss. This is how you communicate with your employees. This is how you take accountability. Professional courtesy, acknowledging mistakes, respecting your boundaries, this should be the norm, this should be how you communicate at work, but it’s not. It’s refreshing.Work for millennials.Oh my God.Generation Z, even better.”
Her TikTok praising millennial bosses quickly went viral
