Malicious Compliance: Factory Fires Employees, But They Take Critical Software

However, after their boss was replaced, the new chief decided to reorganize the place, resulting in Wintertodt being fired.
Upon leaving the company, they asked upper management to compensate them as the program they had developed proved to be an integral part of their business. was ushered to the door.
Then the manager realized that the program was not fully automated and in fact someone had to manage it. Wintertodt didn’t train anyone, so they were the only ones who could do it. Still, workers and former employers were unable to reach an agreement on how to proceed.
