See your loved one’s smile in the clouds, spot a dog’s face in the grain of a wooden wall, or see a creepy face peering out at you from the shadows. No, you are not delusional or “crazy”. I just experienced a very interesting phenomenon known as Pareidolia. Simply put, it means seeing familiar objects or patterns among random objects.
And we’re not the only ones who think it’s great. Her Facebook group for “Things With Faces” has been inviting people to share their pareidolia photos for over a decade.
