“Don’t worry, I’ll print that video for you!” Employee fired for maliciously following manager’s delusional orders

Deeba_’s Redditor recently took a look at Reddit’s Malicious Compliance community. Share what happened at your previous job when she worked as a receptionist for a community care service.

The staff members were great and Deeba_ learned a lot from them, but the assistant manager, Karen, was a dude with “fun personality traits that make a ‘manager from hell’.”

One day, the author received an email from the manager asking him to print the attachment. “One was a pdf and she had another mp4,” she says. She made sure the manager had her pdf in mind and Deeba_ did what was asked and handed over a copy.

To her surprise, the manager was never satisfied and claimed to have sent two documents for printing. This is where the story became viciously submissive.
